Holy smokes, it's been a while since my last post.  Probably because I haven't had the chance to build anything recently.  I've been working on a few different sorts of projects.

One is super-duper top secret.  The other is super-super-duper top secret.

Okay, I lied about the second one being top secret.  Here's what it's all about: for the past few months, a good friend of mine and I have been creating a podcast that is very soon to be released.  It's going to be a comedy podcast in the form of a few different radio dramas, all original stories written by us!  Everyday I get more and more excited about the project, as we get closer and closer to our concept becoming real.  We have writers, we have voice actors, and we're soon to have a website as well!  This is a super exciting thing for me, and I hope to get it released to the world as soon as we can.  As soon as it is ready, I'll be the first to tell you!

Maybe I'll get to tell you about the first one sometime soon.  I could tell you now, but I'd have to kill you.

Or track you down and make you sign an NDA.

When you're a grown-up, you get to enjoy beer.

Now, you have it when you're in high school and college. You have it. But when you're an adult, you really get to enjoy it.

Let's say you work all day, you're on your way home, you're really tired. But it's that really good kind of tired, you know? You know that you're on your way home, and soon you're gonna be at your home. You're gonna be by yourself for a little bit. Get home, go to your fridge, and you get yourself a bottle of beer. It's ice cold. You open it up, and it makes that great sound, that hissing sound, you know? Even the cap hitting the counter makes a great sound.

You go to your living room, sit down on the couch. You bring that bottle up to your lips, and you can smell that smell, that beer smell. It reminds you of what beer smelled like to you when you were a little kid. You didn't like the taste of beer, but now it's a fond memory, remembering when you were a little kid, and things were really simple, and you didn't like the taste of beer. But now you're a grown-up. You take a sip, and it really tastes like beer. And you've had plenty of beers in your life, but this one reminds you what beer tastes like. It's kind of sharp on your tongue. It's a little bitter. It's so cold.

There's nothing else like it. A nice, cold beer.

And you're allowed to have it!

Just make sure you eat first!

What a thrilling weekend!

Saturday was just too much fun to even... fathom.

Okay, okay, vague references aside.  Last night I joined a few friends of mine in San Francisco to see a special edition of the Thrilling Adventure Hour, a live comedy show in the style of an old-time radio play.  Hilarious.  If you are not acquainted with the show, they release recordings of their monthly live shows in podcast form, which is how a majority of their fans (myself included) have come to know them.  Though nothing beats seeing them perform live!

Also, Marc Evan Jackson wears a mean bowtie.  His bowtie may be mean, but he is the nicest guy ever.

I made a pots & pans rack!

So many pots, and not enough room for them.  But not anymore!

Boy, I've been really busy this weekend so it's no surprise I haven't had time for an update.  I spent all Saturday in Oakland with friends, and all Sunday watching Super Bowl with more friends.  How about those commercials?

Anywho, I anticipate more busy-ness as the week progresses.  We just got a huge battery backup system commissioned for work, which are my absolute favorite to design!  So that's gonna be taking up a lot of my time.  Voluntarily, at that.
